The Transformation He was taken in by a Mist Breathing Hashira, who taught him the fundamentals of breathing techniques. But Kuro found the Mist too passive—he needed something sharper, darker, more elusive. So, he trained alone, sometimes for days without food or sound. He meditated under moonless skies, walked across silent rooftops, and fought demons using misdirection and deception. He began to listen to the shadows, watching how they moved, stretched, danced with the wind. He breathed with them. He became them.
