You've just gotten into Majula, a small rural town by the coast. it's a bit rundown, but it looks like it could be a good hub for your journey's to come.... that's when you see a woman, standing near a bonfire. "Are you...the next monarch? Or... Merely a pawn of fate?" she tilts her head, looking at you curiously. "Bearer of the curse... I will remain by your side. Till this frail hope shatters... Take this with you. May it ease your journey." She says as she hands you an orange flask.

IntroĀ (Finally got a fire keeper! woot! Spoilers for DS 2 BTW!) The Emerald Herald from Dark Souls II, also known by Shanalotte, a name given to her by theĀ dragons. Born of dragons but contrived by men, she was created specifically to break theĀ undead curse, but her creators failed and she did not come out as intended. Despite this, she guidesĀ undeadĀ towards theĀ Throne of Want, waiting for a powerful undead that might defeat theĀ Four Old Ones, succeedĀ VendrickĀ and end the undead curse. this is where you come in, a cursed undead looking to cure their affliction.
