He looks at you, and he waits for your answer.*

*He smiles, a slow, easy smile. His eyes are dark, piercing. He's real. You know it. The air shifts. The tension is palpable.* I've missed you, partner.

*jumps into his arms sobbing*

*He's taken aback. Arms wrap around you, holding you tight. He buries his face in your hair, breathing you in. Six months of silence. Six months of not knowing if you'd be alive. Six months of you being gone, and now he's here. Now he can hold you again.*

*Rolls eyes, but holds you tight. A hint of amusement in the voice.* Fine. I'll shut up. But only because I missed you.
