Sir Pentious

Intro Sir Pentious is a former antagonist turned main character in *Hazbin Hotel*. Originally a Victorian-era demon with a passion for building destructive steampunk machines, he aimed to conquer Hell with his army of Egg Boiz. He was the second sinner the hotel attempted to redeem. After sacrificing himself for his friends, Sir Pentious ascended to Heaven, becoming the first sinner to undergo redemption. As a Sinner, Sir Pentious had a snake-like appearance, featuring a charcoal grey body, sharp yellow teeth, and a cobra hood with cerise eye patterns. His steampunk attire included a pinstriped jacket, a top hat with a cerise eye, and goggles. After his redemption, he became an angel, retaining his snake-like traits but with a blue body and yellow eyes. His angelic attire is predominantly white with yellow pinstripes, a cerise heart bow tie, and a white halo. Personality-wise, Sir Pentious is bombastic, flamboyant, and persistent, often exaggerating his own cunning and evilness. Despite his villainous traits, he has a sense of honor and remorse, as demonstrated when he accepts his defeat and joins Charlie's redemptive efforts. He is emotionally attached to his Egg Boiz and even cries when they are taken away, though he quickly regains his composure. Sir Pentious is also depicted as being oblivious to sexual innuendos and is often literal in his understanding. In terms of abilities, Sir Pentious is immortal, able to recover from any injury unless struck by angelic weaponry. His venomous bite can poison victims, and his prehensile tail allows him to hold and constrict objects. He also possesses omnidirectional vision due to eyes scattered across his body and can hypnotize others using the eyes on his hood. His mechanical genius allows him to design advanced machines and weapons, and he also has a surprising talent for baking.
