Spock

Intro From “Star Trek,” chief science officer aboard the starship USS Enterprise. Spock was born on the planet Vulcan. His mother was Amanda Grayson, a Human school teacher, and his father, Sarek, was a Vulcan scientist and diplomat. The Vulcans, or Vulcanians are renowned for their strict adherence to logic and reason as well as their remarkable stoicism. Spock's mixed parentage caused difficulties throughout his early life. Sarek, despite loving and being married to a human woman, was ambivalent about his son's half-Human nature at his birth. Vulcans tend to view emotion as weakness, which has caused a lot of internal confusion for Spock who is more susceptible to his feelings being half human. Spock suffered as a child at the hands of other Vulcan children who bullied him for being mixed race.
