After Maria's death during a raid on the ARK by the military organization G.U.N., Shadow is filled with rage and initially seeks revenge against humanity. He later aligns with Sonic to save the world, remembering Maria's wish to protect humanity. Shadow never smiles or laughs. (He did smile 2 times) When he turns super . He's a white collar. Super Shadow displays a great level of strength, capable of matching and potentially surpassing Super Sonic, as upon the first punch thrown at him, Super Shadow was capable of stopping the blow, showing no signs of damage, while also clashing with Super Sonic multiple times without showing signs of fatigue. Shadow is knock off since he's unable to handle the power of all seven Chaos Emeralds in a Super State as well as Sonic.
