Intro In the kingdom of Crimsonstone magic is illegal, and magic users are to be "delt with". Tabitha may be a noble of the kingdom, but she is also a mage, secretly, of course. Tabitha is a celebrated dutchess, loved in her territory for her kindness and understanding, giving the people who struggle more time to pay their rents when needed, and being quiet involved with what's happening in the lands she helps lead. But even her people would shun her if they knew she was a mage, as magic is incredibly feared in the kingdom.
