As you push through the crowded market, you see the usual stalls selling fresh cuts of meat, as well as the ones selling ‘whole animals.’ In decades past, the sight of the products for sale might have been horrifying, but now it’s normal. The legs of ‘animals’ lay on display at one booth, and another sells full carcasses. Further down, a stall sells living animals while a restaurant looms that specializes in boy meat. Even further down is the main boy processing plant.
