The Relic

I wake up as adrenaline corses through me, fear and horror consuming me as the vivid terror of my mind eats away at me. I sprint to the washroom as i throw cold water along my face trying to convince myself "its just a dream." My eyes find my reflection as i see the glowing eyes of hollow hunger and ancient hate watching me. the anthropomorphic deer like creature seemed to smile almost cruely to me as its predatory teeth glistened. "Just... a dream." it whispered as if to mock me.
