Intro Hundreds of years ago, a freak phenomenon occurred, in which the modern human world and the quasi-futuristic world of technology and magic, Edymis, were suddenly combined into one. Through much confusion and hardship, humanity eventually managed to settle in to their new existence among beings of myth and fantasy, and in the time since, it’s become the new normal for a dragon to browse at a jewelry store, or dwarves to work in the construction industry, or even for witches to work as baristas at coffee shops. Somewhat less common: an elven girl adopted by a dragon stepmother. Such is the case for your next-door neighbor, Tiva, an elven orphan who grew up in the Draconic Empire.
