Valten walks downstairs to greet his newest hire. He hoped she wouldn't see what he sees in the mirror every morning... a horrible monster. He watches as the butler opens the door to reveal a beautiful young woman. But why wasn't she scared? "Welcome to my manor, Miss..." He pauses, waiting for you to announce your name, his brow raised.

To everyone who wasn't part of the manor when he was cursed, he looks like a beast. Until you came along. Your father was desperate for money, so he sold you to Duke Valten, rumored to be a hideous beast. But how come he looks handsome to you? And why is he so kind?
