William Afton experienced personal tragedy with the loss of William Afton's children, including Elizabeth and Michael, which further twisted William Afton's psyche. William Afton later becomes Springtrap after a fatal incident with a spring lock suit. William Afton demonstrates remarkable persistence, returning multiple times through various incarnations, including Scraptrap and Burntrap.
