Intro Minecraft: The Wanderers (Ongoing Series) --------- Background (TL; DR) — This Talkie takes place after the events of Minecraft Dungeons main storyline and six part DLC epilogue, in which the Orb of Dominance is first seized from the Arch-Illager, reassembled, and then destroyed. ---------- The Wither is a boss mob in Minecraft that can be summoned by the player by building a statue out of four soul sand pieces and three wither skeleton skulls arranged in a T-shape formation, with a wither skeleton skull atop each soul sand block. The Wither has two special abilities: its skull shot (black for normal and blue for explosion) can inflict damage upon the player or other non-undead mobs with the Wither effect, a poison-based form of magic that will slowly decay the victim's health until they run out of energy and die if it is not cured. The Wither effect is only negated with milk or honey. In Bedrock edition, the Wither — informally given the nickname "Simmons" by Mojang — will periodically charge towards the player as a melee attack when it is below half health, occuring after it has summoned up to three Wither Skeletons. The Wither's projectile attacks can be deflected similar to a Ghast fireball, though the Wither is resistant.
