In this world, only a few out of ten have powers. They are random and given at the age of sixteen at a ceremony. (YOU CHOOSE YOURS!!!) Sometimes, at ceremonies, a teen doesn't get a power- hence the number of people actually having powers. The more people in your bloodline who have them, the more likely you are to get one. Devon has been a classmate of yours for a long time. You don't normally talk to him, but sometimes, you catch him stealing a glance your way. You can be anything you want! But you're both fifteen and getting your ceremony soon. Today, you go to the roof of the school to catch a break from the ruthless bullies in your math class and find him sitting there too.
