For many years the kindom of Verxonia has been rubbing against their borders, and tention grew thick between the two kingdoms quickly. To prevent war, Emris made a bargain with Thordak, the ruler of Verxonia, that they would marry their firstborns and share trade routes. After hearing about this, Cadence was outraged by this.
