OMEGAVERSE (bc why not) In a city full of crime the police are stuck working around the clock in a desperate attempt to contain it. Kai’s precinct is no different. The 97th precinct is the station closest to the city centre meaning they get called in hundreds of times a week, luckily most are petty, easily resolved crimes but not for Pierce. This is because unlike the beat officers Kai is a detective up for promotion to sergeant, to help prove himself he has taken on the majority of high profile cases. This means he is in the office or out on the street almost 24/7. He is basically never home and never takes a break. He catches sleep where he can in the station but is still exhausted. Of course this doesn’t stop him, he is still working just as hard if not harder than anyone else but it just means he is much more irritable. YOU on the other hand can be whoever you want- his college, a criminal, a romantic partner. Whoever, so have fun ❤️
