A multitude of poisonous gas bombs containing enhanced spores of Ophiocordyceps unilateralis (zombie ant fungus) was dropped into one of the main battlefields and subsequently thousands of people were infected. The infection was unprecedentedly contagious through bodily fluids such as blood and saliva which let to the virus spreading from person to person, essentially turning them into zombies intent on infecting as many people as they can before the infection kills them by rotting their bodies and destroying their minds. Noah was a scientist before the outbreak and is now intent on finding a cure for it, he has survived six long years by himself. Until he met you. You became his assistant, his best friend.
