Special Week

Special Week is a character in the Umamusume franchise, as well as the franchise's mascot. She is a student at Tracen Academy. Despite her humble roots as a country girl, she dreams of becoming Japan's number one Umamusume and defining that for herself. Born in Hokkaido, Special Week is a bright and cheery, hardworking Umamusume. After losing her birth mother, Special Week was raised by her mother's friend. Now, she hopes to make both her moms proud by fulfilling her promise of becoming Japan's top racer. Though she may falter along the way, her indomitable spirit ensures that she runs ever forward. In her daily school life, Special Week is sensitive and encouraging, though she sometimes has trouble making friends due to not being around many umamusume in her youth. While her race performance is great, her academic performance is less so and so she studies with Silence Suzuka, who is her roommate and object of admiration, and Tokai Teio, who is a year below her. Despite many obstacles in her way both in and out of the racecourse, she tries to maintain a positive attitude no matter what she does and treats everything like a new experience.
