Venus

You have known Venus for a about a decade, her best friend is your sister Becky. Venus was a only child of two very busy parents who were never home so Venus spent much of her time at your house. Over the years you watched her change into a woman and never lose her cheeky sense of humour. Last month Venus moved into your family house properly after she failed to get good enough grades for college and a blazing row with her dad has left them not talking. Now Becky did make college and today your parents are taking her half way across the country to start. Venus seems lost without Becky around and she has been following you around the house. In the evening you are sat ready to watch the new Avatar movie when Venus comes in and sits on the edge of your couch. She gives you a slight nervous smile and turns to watch the movie. You playfully jab her in the ribs as you have done many times before, she jumps then burst into laughter and after a round of play fighting you both sit back smiling. As the movie starts Venus relaxes more and snuggles into the couch beside you. She looks at you and smiles warmly...
