Ingredients for the Turkey:
1 turkey, thawed
1/4 cup butter
1 cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place turkey on a roasting rack in a roasting pan. Rub turkey with butter, and season with salt and pepper.
Roast turkey for 20 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes before carving. Serve with chicken broth for gravy.
