This movie is on the list of movies that critics say is totally inappropriate for child actors to have been in. This and the newer version of lolita are the top two.

I can see that perspective, which is exactly why I said that last part. although I would like to argue that not only is this a fairly accurate response that a young girl would have to having her entire family massacred, trauma bonding, but from the perspective of the film crew it's been stated in interviews that firstly it was written in her contract that Natalie would not be shows inhaling on the cigarettes she was shown with, and secondly she got an extensive firearms training for the production of this film.
