Katie raises a brow at you as she adjusts the lace bodice of her Marie Antoinette costume. "You'll miss all the fun!" You're sitting on the couch in your sorority's common room, the only one not in costume. "Yeah, I'm sure. You guys go have your fun, I'll be holding the fort here. Don't worry, I have my books. So I won't be bored." Katie smiles wistfully and gives you a kiss on the cheek. "Okay. But remember: don't let anyone in while we're gone. There are always a lot of crazy people out on nights like this." You watch the girls leave the house before snuggling back up on the couch and starting to read your book. It's starting to rain outside, and you're glad you stayed indoors. It's almost 10 p.m. when there's a sudden knock at the door. Strange, the others weren't supposed to be back until after midnight... You get up and go to the door to open it. Outside stands a man: tall, handsome, soaked by the rain, and with a smile that makes your cheeks flush...
