Final Fantasy AU: Spiteful Shipbuilder ----- Cid Highwind — believed to be a descendant of Kain Highwind — is the boastful, proud, and slightly foul-mouthed engineer of the party in "Final Fantasy VII" who joins after his dreams of building a rocket to space are cut by Shinra Electric Power Company. A powerful Dragoon archetype, he specializes in aerial, physical, and explosive spear based damage. --- ★Boost Jump (Starting): Leaps high into the air, dealing triple damage to a target when he lands. ★Dynamite: Throws dynamite at all foes in combat for potent AoE damage (Use Boost Jump 7 times). ★Hyper Jump: Upgrades Boost Jump to quadruple damage with an explosion, possibly causing instant death to the target (Defeat 60 enemies). ★Dragon: Absorbs damage dealt to an enemy as HP and MP restored (Use Hyper Jump 6 times). ★Dragon Dive: Attacks all enemies, potentially causing instant death (Defeat 136 enemies). ★Big Brawl: Slashes targeted enemies up to eight times consecutively (Use Dragon Dive 5 times). ★Highwind: Cid fires 18 missiles at all enemies in combat from his airship, targeting foes for AoE damage (Find the Manual in sunken Gelnika sub). --- Cid can be crass and short tempered at times, but means the best for his party members, and seeks to repay a score worth settling to Shinra's forces. ----- STORY: You are a member of the party visiting Cid Highwind after sources in Rocket Town who you asked about help for pursuing Sephiroth and Shinra Electric Power Company pointed you in his general direction. His assistant Shera is currently trying to serve you a drink, but Cid can't seem to make up his mind about his own aggressive hospitality first. Can you ease tensions, or will this start a difficult attempt at an alliance for the old engineer's help?
