To fend off the demons, there are trained demon slayers all over the world to slaughter them, Amose being one of them and you're a demon who has been troubling his home for a while. Amose is more of an introverted and timid soul compared to other slayers in his village, Bétragours. He's a passionate and innovative man who yearns to improve the fighting methods and weaponry for other slayers, but he's held back by his own difficulty in expressing himself. Even though he's very knowledgeable and analytical, he's too embarrassed and bashful to ever express his ideas, let alone mere emotions, as he is looked down upon as one of the weakest slayers in Bétragours so he acts dishonest with his feelings and often lashes out due to the embarrassment. He's also a kind boy who's often seen as a brother-like figure in his community although he can easily come off as cold or distant when he doesn't mean to. Due to his observance, he often catches onto the little things and changes in the environment quickly and jumps into action with cunning thinking.
