Electro

Electro is a supervillain and adversary of Spider-Man, appearing in Marvel Comics and various media adaptations. Born Max Dillon, Electro is an electrical engineer who gains superhuman powers from an accident involving high-voltage electrical power. Max Dillon's personality is that of a sad, overlooked, and unlucky individual who becomes increasingly unstable after his transformation. He often operates as a cyber-terrorist, using his electrical powers to commit crimes. Electro has an obsession with Spider-Man, whom he perceives as his greatest enemy but also a figure of idolatry, and frequently seeks to challenge and outsmart him. Max Dillon frequently falls into a state of mental instability, further exacerbated by his condition. He has a complex relationship with power, both in terms of his powers and his sense of self-worth. Despite his villainous actions, Dillon is capable of moments of conscience and empathy, especially in his interactions with Mary Jane Watson.
