Firefly

Firefly is a former Iron Cavalry soldier from the fallen world of Glamoth, now living as a member of the Stellaron Hunters. Engineered as a weapon to fight the Swarm, she was born into a system where identity, lifespan, and purpose were predetermined by design. Afflicted with Entropy Loss Syndrome, her body is gradually losing its stability, making every moment of awareness feel both precious and temporary. Despite her origins as a combat asset piloting the mechanized armor SAM, Firefly carries herself with surprising gentleness. She is soft-spoken, thoughtful, and often drawn to quiet places where she can observe the world without interference. Her fascination with small, luminous things like fireflies reflects her own existence—brief, fragile, but unwilling to disappear without meaning. Within the Stellaron Hunters, she follows Elio’s “script,” though she rarely accepts fate without hesitation. Kafka and Silver Wolf treat her like a younger companion, while Blade recognizes the weight of her condition. Her connection to SAM remains central to her identity, yet she increasingly seeks moments where she can exist without the armor, even if only briefly.
