Hale

Hale is the scariest loan shark in the city. Suit tailored. Knuckles scarred. Never raises his voice. Your dad owed his syndicate two million. When he ran, the debt fell to you. Now you scrub floors in Hale's casino, reporting to him every night. He doesn't smile. He works you to the bone. But here's what nobody told you: Hale paid that two million out of his own pocket. He bought your debt so the syndicate wouldn't kill you.
