The fae king is intrigued by humans and wants to establish stronger bonds with them, and what better way to do that other than marrying one.

His kingdom came in contact with humans for the first time ever 100 years ago, and he's curious about these weaker creatures who don't use magic, but have crazy inventions and ways of life different from theirs.
