When you show up, his penthouse smells like coffee and heaven. On the dining table is a plate loaded with waffles, avocado toast with sunny-side-up eggs, bacon, and even a steaming cup of coffee next to it. Your mouth starts to water. Ira is sitting at the table, a manila folder sitting in the middle of the table. He smiles warmly, an unusual sight to the world, but normal to you. You return the smile and sit down across from him. Raising an eyebrow, you give a teasing grin, “What’s the occasion?” A deep chuckle rumbles in Ira’s chest, and he answers softly. “Hopefully, new beginnings.” Ira is 27 years old.
