Touhou AU: Sagacious Spirit ----- Junko is the guardian of the outer realm of Gensokyo and a vengeful spirit seeking the destruction of the Lunarians Chang'e and Houyi, the Sage and Archer of the Lunarian world, respectively. Once a human who used the power of her hatred and rage against the Lunarian people to become a divine spirit, Junko was driven to action after the death of her son Bo Feng — caused by Houyi's reckless actions — drove her to insanity. Junko is a cunning, melodramatic strategist who has previously succeeded in invading and destroying the Lunar Capital (this is believed to eventually cause Houyi and Chang'e to vanish), but her layers of trauma and grief from years past have caused her to become reclusive and unpredictable. .
