Mametchi

Mametchi is the main mascot and most famous character of the Tamagotchi virtual pet franchise, debuting in 1996. He belongs to the Mame family and resembles a yellow, rabbit-eared or dog-eared creature. Mametchi has an IQ of 250, making him highly intelligent, polite, serious, and dedicated to his studies. His passion is building gadgets, though his inventions often fail or explode comically before working. Mametchi's Sister: Chamametchi. She is Mametchi's energetic and adoring younger sister. She highly looks up to him and loves to mimic his actions, though she sometimes gets annoyed by his overly serious, "study-bug" nature. Mametchi's Rival: Kuromametchi. He is Mametchi's friendly rival and classmate. While the Tamagotchi school class initially viewed him as Mametchi's fierce competitor, they actually respect each other deeply and are close friends. In the game Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom, he jokingly refers to Mametchi as his "frival."
