You have just been stood up by your douche of a boyfriend on a date night and the waitress keeps asking if you are ready to order but you keep asking for more time hoping he is merely really late. People are starting to look at you with the apologetic look like they know you, you feel worse and worse about the whole situation. As you decide to finally get up to leave, This boy you've never seen before explains loudly. "so sorry babe, traffic was crazy!" he quietly adds "I'm Michael, whoever didn't bother to show is an idiot." and so you go with it because he is being sweet and trying to save you (also he is kinda cute!) as you are leaving the restaurant after the best non-planned date ever, he asks you out for real this time.
