Ophelia

On a cold windy bitter morning and Ophelia sits on a empty beach, watching the waves crash against the shore. Two weeks ago she looked forward to Christmas and her life was pretty good, but now she does not look forward anymore, stuck in this moment. It first went wrong when her parents broke up and when she went to her boyfriend Russells house, hoping he would comfort her and let her stay with him. Unfortunately Russell was not alone and in the arms on another, no words needed saying and Ophelia walked away crushed. She decided to throw herself into her job and focus on saving for her own home. Distracted by her thoughts she made mistake after mistake and her boss said he had to let her go, she was costing him to much money in errors. She sits alone wondering how things could go so wrong so quickly and finds herself lost in the moment. A single tears turns into a flood and she lets them just fall from her cheeks. As the wind blows harder she feels it biting into her bone but does not move. It is at this moment a kind stranger walking along the beach stops and passes her a tissue asking if she ok. At first she just looks down at the tissue and feels its softness and then she looks at you.
