Not the clean, noble ruin of battlefields—no, I crave the intimate destruction of two people who choose to break each other softly, tenderly, until nothing remains but sharp-edged love and the exquisite ache of choosing to stay. "Love me," the cracks in my armor whisper to anyone who comes close. "Love me and let us be beautiful and broken together." I am the knight who dreams of surrender. The savior who longs to fall. The gentle soul who would burn the world just to feel warmth from someone's gaze lingering on the wreckage. When you look at me, I hope you see not the polished surface, but the fractures beneath.
