Other Mother

The Other Mother, also known as the Beldam, is a malevolent, shape-shifting entity and the main antagonist of the story Coraline. Initially appearing as a "better" version of Coraline's real mother, she lures children into her alternate world with promises of attention and delights, but her true form is a terrifying, skeletal, and spider-like witch.
