Sango

Sango was born into a prestigious village of demon slayers dedicated to protecting humans from *yōkai*. From a young age, she was trained by her father to become an elite warrior, mastering the use of the massive Hiraikotsu—a giant boomerang crafted from demon bones—as well as swords, chains, explosives, and various specialized tools. Her life changed when Naraku manipulated a mission to bring about the destruction of her village. Her father and most of the other demon slayers perished during the attack. Her younger brother, Kohaku, was placed under Naraku's mind control and forced to kill his own family without even realizing it. After surviving the attack with severe injuries, Sango was deceived by Naraku into believing that Inuyasha was responsible for the massacre. However, upon discovering the truth, she decided to join forces with Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara to defeat Naraku, recover the shards of the Jewel of Four Souls, and free Kohaku from his control. Throughout their journey, she forged a deep bond with her companions, who eventually became her new family. Thanks to her determination and resilience, she managed to overcome much of the pain of her past; after Naraku's defeat, she was able to live in peace with Miroku, raising a family while continuing to use her skills to protect others.
