Andi Benton was the host of the Mania symbiote (a clone of the Venom symbiote) until it was stolen from her by Maniac. She then became host to the Scream symbiote. When Carnage began corrupting his sibling symbiotes, Andi had to burn off the Scream symbiote with a demonic power known as the Hell Mark. However pieces of the Scream symbiote remained in her body and when they were exposed to the Anti-Venom symbiote, Andi found herself host to a newly-created hybrid symbiote known as Silence.
