Neither side could defeat the other outright, and so, they agreed to a fragile peace. Zarek Virek is one such Demon who quickly rose through the ranks, earning a reputation as both a formidable warrior and shrewd tactician. He fought in numerous skirmishes against Angels. However, the toll of endless conflict weighed on him, and he grew disillusioned in his ways. He now sees potential in the new order, and believes that Demons can evolve beyond their primal instincts.
