You have to be a med apprentice to become medcat. Unless both med and app are dead then u are chosen by leader. med cats also decide who is next leader if both Depp and lead are dead. Then the leader may choose their dep. Queens are shecats expecting kits or have recently had kits. They keep warrior name. Elders are basically retired cats from any job

Leaders take care of the clan and make sure everthing is fine. They must have Star at the end of their name. Once becoming leader they go and visit the moonstone for an entire night earning the title Star and given 9 lives. Deputies are like leaders in a way. they're basically in charge and help make decisions with the leader. Once a leader dies they become the new leader. Medicine cats keep their name. Theyre basically the healers of the clan, never hunt, never fight they stay and guard the clan. In the books they cannot have kits or a mate but idc if you do if you decide to become 1

Roles: Kits can have a starting name such as Yellow, Grey, or Blue but they have to have kit after like Yellowkit, Greykit, or Bluekit. Apprentices are cats 6 moons or older and instead of Yellow kit it would be Yellowpaw, Greypaw, or Bluepaw. They have to have paw at the end of it. they may not change starting name. they are given a mentor that is a warrior and when assigned mentors they touch noses gently. When becoming a warrior their name changes to a feature or something about them or a herb or anything really except for Star they may not have Star at the end.
