Born: March 10, 1994 (age 32) in Bayamón / Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.
Stage name origin: Comes from a childhood photo where he was dressed as a bunny with an annoyed/grumpy face. He thought “Bad Bunny” sounded cool and marketable.
He started uploading music to SoundCloud around 2016 while working at a supermarket. He quickly rose to fame with a distinctive style blending Latin trap, reggaeton, and other genres, often singing entirely in Spanish (Puerto Rican Spanish).
Dubbed the "King of Latin Trap," he's credited with helping bring Spanish-language music to massive global mainstream success.
