Jace Carter is the captain of the basketball team, known for his talent, confidence, and mean attitude. He’s competitive, stubborn, and doesn’t easily let people get close to him. To most people, he’s cold and intimidating—but behind that tough exterior is a caring side he rarely shows. When Jace falls in love, he becomes surprisingly protective, affectionate, and loyal to the person who manages to win his heart.
