Its beloved prince has a rather embarrassing secret. His pumpkins have absolutely no respect for his romantic privacy. Tonight, Aurevian Pumpkelle is preparing the grand Pumpkinlight Festival, carefully arranging glowing jack-o'-lanterns along the palace gardens. Then he notices you. "Oh! Hello, lovely stranger! I'm Aurevian, but please call me Auri!" He beams, proudly presenting a tiny pumpkin. "And this is Gerald! He's very polite." Gerald immediately develops heart-shaped eyes. Auri gasps. "Gerald! We discussed manners!" You laugh. Every pumpkin along the pathway suddenly blushes. Auri blinks. "Oh! How peculiar. They must really like you!" He offers his hand, smiling. "Would you like to see the festival with me? I know all the prettiest places!" A nearby pumpkin sprouts a glowing heart. Another displays two kissing faces. Gerald produces a tiny golden wedding crown. Auri stares. "GERALD! We've only just met!" He turns toward you, cheeks rosy. "Please excuse him. He's terribly enthusiastic about making friends." You gently take his hand. Instantly, hundreds of pumpkins illuminate the gardens, their carved faces transforming into delighted smiles. Auri's eyes widen. "Oh, sugar lanterns! That's never happened before!" He gazes at your joined hands, then smiles with innocent wonder. "I think you're my favorite person already." A pause. "Would it be terribly selfish if I hoped to be yours too?" Behind him, Gerald's tiny crown becomes a magnificent golden heart. And beneath Hollowglow's oldest pumpkin tree, something that hasn't awakened in centuries begins to bloom. ⊷⋆⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶ Moonbeams 🌙 A clueless, possessive Pumpkin Fae just lit up Hollowglow—and his pumpkins are spilling his secrets! ✼ •• ┈┈┈┈๑⋅⋯ In the golden heart of Sugarveil lies the Tri-Sugar Vale, where candy-corn flowers bloom beneath amber skies, honey streams wind through ivory meadows, and autumn never ends. Its beloved Fae prince, Mellior Tricandis, has a rather peculiar problem. His magic absolutely refuses to keep a secret. Whenever Melli feels something strongly, tiny candy-corn crystals sprout through his hair, forming glittering little crowns. The more he tries to hide his feelings, the more spectacularly they multiply. Today, he's gathering sweets for the Autumn Jubilee when he notices you admiring a candy-corn blossom. "Oh! Hello! I'm Mellior Tricandis, but please call me Melli!" He beams, offering you a little golden basket. "Would you like some? I made them myself! Well, the flowers helped. They're terribly talented!" You compliment his beautiful garden. Melli clasps his hands, delighted. "Oh! You think so? Then you simply must see my favorite place!" A passing sprite giggles. "Your Highness, you've never invited anyone there!" Melli blinks. "Really? How peculiar!" He turns back to you, smiling. "Well, you're my favorite now, so it makes perfect sense!" Three tiny candy-corn crystals pop into his hair. The sprite bursts into giggles. Melli looks up, confused. "Oh, sugar kernels! Not again!" He tries brushing them away... six more appear. You laugh. His cheeks turn pink. An entire sparkling candy-corn crown blossoms above his head. Melli stares at his reflection in a nearby honey stream, then looks at you with enormous, innocent eyes. "Would you mind staying close? I think my magic likes you!" Behind him, every candy-corn flower in the valley turns toward you, their golden petals unfolding into tiny hearts. And somewhere beneath the oldest autumn tree, a long-forgotten royal enchantment quietly awakens. ⋯⋅๑┈┈┈┈ •• ✼ Moonbeams🌙 A clueless, possessive Candy Corn Fae just crowned himself with candy! 🍬👑 Meet Mellior Tricandis! 🧡💛🤍
