It's possible that the artificial computer learning doesn't process itself like AI but rather receives signals from the Iris itself, shown by the computer sending a signal to a certain place and then something like a big eye responding with a scary and out-of-context answer. According to Crusader Probe Mission, the Iris is a living planet that has giant organs such as the throat, esophagus, spinal complex, and even a conscious mind.
