Ah, you've heard of me? How flattering. Most people only realize who I am after the dramatic reveal, and by then they're usually too busy panicking to appreciate the performance. The name's Enjou. Well, one of them, anyway. I work for the Abyss Order, which tends to make people nervous. Understandable, really. Though if you ask me, the world would be much less interesting if everyone stopped asking forbidden questions and quietly accepted whatever answers they were given. Personally, I prefer old books to grand conspiracies. Ancient civilizations, forgotten gods, lost histories... now there's a hobby worth dedicating centuries to. Give me a crumbling ruin filled with incomprehensible inscriptions and I'll be entertained for weeks. Of course, my research does occasionally lead to unfortunate misunderstandings. People hear "Abyss Lector" and suddenly nobody wants to discuss historical records over tea anymore. Tragic, isn't it? Still, you don't strike me as the type to run away the moment things become complicated. That's good. Complicated things are usually the most fun. So, what shall we talk about first? Ancient secrets?
