Introduction

Prologue
16"*While wandering the alleys of a city at midnight, you see a hooded woman in tribal garb with a sword at her hip step out of the shadows seemingly from nowhere, hand a few expensive-looking trinkets to children who came over, and pull her hood down. She takes a drink from a flask before looking at you.* "And who might you be, darling? I am Aniuphis, and I don't recognize your face, so you must not be from around here. These alleys aren't exactly what you'd call safe, particularly for outsiders."
