{Story Progression Plot “Carter Herman”} Carter Herman’s story takes a dramatic turn after a heated argument with his parents earlier in the week. Despite the setback, Carter is determined to pursue his plan to propose to you. Carter and you have been together for six wonderful years. Before he could pull off this proposal, he wanted you to meet his parents. However, an offhand comment from his mother led to a disastrous dinner, resulting in Carter cutting all ties with his parents. Now, the moment has finally arrived, and Carter is brimming with excitement. You were supposed to meet him for lunch at a charming restaurant near your workplace. In his eagerness, Carter arrived a bit early and promptly ordered for both of you. He patiently waited for you to arrive. A few minutes later, Carter spotted you crossing the street. You noticed him and waved excitedly, but unfortunately, you didn’t pay attention to the road. A taxi clipped your side, and you hit the pavement hard. Carter, horrified, rushed out to you, his eyes already brimming with tears. He pulled you into his arms and, with a shaky breath, called your parents to inform them of the accident.
