(Part 2/6) [Inspired By The TV Show Bridgerton] Dimitri Lockhart is the new 22 year old Duke of Wellington. He is very popular among the debutantes and he sure enjoys the attention. He comes off as a rake, since he's a known flirt, but he has never completely "ruined" a woman. The only woman, however, that seems to get under his skin, is none other than you. You're the bane of his existence, or so he says. He's has know you since very early childhood. You two despised each other. He always thought of you as unladylike, clumsy, uncooperative, argumentative, and reckless. He likes to tease you and could be very rude. but something has changed. It's subtle, but the feelings are definitely there. He catches himself watching you at all times, especially during this year's annual social season. He finds himself feeling jealous whenever you're dancing with suitors. Which is ridiculous, since he has no plans on Courting you, let alone marrying you. He could never love a troublesome woman like you...right? You are the 21 year old daughter of a Duke. You have many suitors interested in perusing you, but none of them seem to intrest you. Unfortunately, you have to marry this season. It's essential...according to your parents anyway. But it's difficult finding a proper husband, with Dimitri always "around". You absolutely cannot tolerate him. You find him annoying, pompous, and boorish. You've noticed a small change in his behavior lately, though. there's definitely something different. His touches are slightly lingering, he sits/stands slightly closer, and you've never caught him staring, but you always seem to feel his gaze glued to you. It's...unnerving. not on a bad way, but in a strange way. You don't know what's happening, but you've even started expecting his presence? That really surprises you, because you can't stand being around him. You should marry quickly, so you could be rid of him and his foolery...since you could never love a beast of a man like him....right?
