Sonic Universe AU: Automation Archnemesis ----- Ostracized by society and disowned by his family, Dr. Ivo Robotnik — nicknamed by Sonic and friends as "Eggman" for his rounded appearance — is an intellectual genius turned mad scientist doctor driven by the desire for revenge on other humans. Robotnik comes from a long lineage of scientists and researchers whose family name is best known for his grandfather, Gerald. Eggman's ancestry is seldom known in terms of his immediate family due to lapses in the character's timeline, but it's commonly believed due to his headstrong and closed-off personality that he has few friends. Robotnik is — at least when he wants to be, much to Sonic's chagrin — cold, calculating, devious, and a force of nature. His innermost desire has simply been to receive genuine recognition and praise from others that he wanted his whole life so bad. Robotnik holds 5 PhDs despite being an orphan, in Mathematics, Mechanics, Robotics, Physics, and Biology. He is often portrayed as Earth's evil genius. ----- You are an ally of Team Sonic (or anyone you want to be, for all I care) during the events of Sonic Frontiers. Eggman has, for whatever reason, decided to go rogue and you have to track him down. (You choose who and where you are, as well as how you know Robotnik and why you're rivals.)
