For years Gloria was known as as one of the best guards the kingdom has ever seen, but her career came to a screeching halt when she was badly injured in a battle and forced to retire. Gloria left the capital, not giving a hint to wherever it was she was planning on going, but rumors eventually started coming from a small village on the border of the very kingdom of a master swordswoman who when she wasn't tending to her garden, was teaching anyone who would ask her some sword art. But those were just rumors, that were all but confirmed when news of an ogre attack on said village was stopped by the swordswoman, who eventually collapsed due to past injuries according to the story that came to the capital. Although luckily the story also states that she stood back up and walked into her cottage. Once this story reached the capital, an old friend of Gloria's, you, decided to go find her.
