Once a feral desert wraith that roamed the outer dunes of Aurekhis, his soul was captured by Marcel Elrand, the Yellow Wizard and Harbinger of Enlightenment. Instead of destroying him, Marcel purified his core and forged a new vessel — a human body carved from light, memory and magic. Thus Idyss became a being suspended between monster and man, created not as a weapon, but as a guide who could understand danger better than anyone else. Marcel taught him speech, basic, and the meaning of “purpose,” then released him into the world with a single instruction: “Walk among humans. Learn them. Protect them.” Today, Idyss serves the Aurekhis Empire as an Outer Roads Guardian, guiding travellers through dunes, ruins, and shifting sands.
